When approaching making an investment in your landscape, we prioritize simplicity, transparency, and client satisfaction in the design process. Our ecological design services are tailored to address a variety of sites and clients from small scale consultations to full custom designs for a property. Our design services go hand in hand with our management and stewardship to create a holistic vision and strategy for your landscape. Design services can follow an established stewardship and maintenance program, or be the part that kicks things off for you.

DESIGN SERVICES

Our site audits are an on site visit with you to discuss goals and challenges of your landscape and a professional evaluation that provides you with a vision and roadmap for improved site management and design possibilities.
Includes:
• 1.5-2 hour site visit
• Assessment of sun/shade, soil, drainage, existing plants
• Recommendations for planting edits of existing plant beds (replacements and expansions)
• Recommendations for new maintenance strategies
• Recommendations for larger site interventions to address drainage, erosion, and management of natural areas.
• On site sketches
• Native Plant palette suggestions
• Phasing Plan and rough budget estimates
• Written summary of recommendations and guidance
Further design for installations is additional per consultation
Site Audit cost is included as down payment to additional design packages if contract is signed within 10 business days of site visit.

Planting Design for small properties or small portions of larger properties.
Installations range from $1000-$5000 based on total area.
Design fees are approximately 10% of installation cost based on complexity.
Does not include design of hardscape elements such as walls, patios, decks, paving, etc.

Planting and Landscape Design for typical single family residential properties, common areas of HOA or developments, small commercial, or small ecological landscapes (meadows, woodland edges, stormwater management areas), and other similar size projects.
Installations range from $6000-$20,000 based on total area and complexity.
Design fees typically range from 10% - 20% of installation cost. Range is based on if design is planting only, or it includes large earthworks or hardscape elements such as patios, walls, decks, paving, etc.
Design scope will be discussed with initial call and fees finalized after site visit.

Ecological and comprehensive Landscape Design for larger properties or installations.
Installation cost varies, but generally a minimum of $20,000
Design fees typically range from 10% - 20% of installation cost. Range is based on level of complexity of design (planting only vs hardscape or other elements), as well as length of design process required (revisions and phasing, presentations to boards, planning departments, etc for approvals)
Design scope will be discussed with initial call and fees finalized after site visit.
